“Back at UVA I had grad students, and at first I didn’t have to teach too much. But eventually, I realized that if I really engaged and started actively teaching the kids, I got much better results from them. So I was able to start with people that didn’t know what they were doing, and then I was able to teach them, and bring into doing things in a specific and formal way.”
