Students aren’t allowed to order food from outside the school and have it delivered to the school, according to Principal Jay Thomas.
This is called competition with the cafeteria and it is against Federal Law. Schools get money from the government to provide students with lunch, so when students get food delivered they are essentially competing with the government.
Administration will no longer allow students to order food for long lunch; however, this is not a new policy.
This does not mean that seniors can’t go out during long lunch to buy food, but students inside the school must either pack a lunch or buy from the cafeteria.
