“Something that’s been making me happy recently is my family. My sister is home from college, and it finally feels like we’re back together. There was always something missing [when she was gone], because for 18 years we were a family a five. So it’s been making me happy that she’s home, and we all get to eat dinner as a family and she doesn’t have to go back to school any time soon.
We got closer when she was a sophomore during COVID, but we got super close last year when she was a senior and I was a freshman. She would take me to school and we would go to all the same events — we just had a lot of time to talk in the car and hang out together. We loved to go thrifting — and she’s so good at it, it’s annoying because I’m not as good at it — but I still love thrifting with her and getting good finds.”
