- This is my 23rd year of teaching. I taught Fine Arts at Charlottesville High School from 2009 to 2018. I’ve also taught at Walton Middle School, Red Hill Elementary, and [Community Lab School].”
- “I’ve always loved helping people, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I’ve always been an artist, so it made the most sense to go to school to become an art teacher. But I also love working with students with disabilities, so in addition to being a certified art teacher, I’m also a special education and English teacher, which is rather unusual.”
- “That’s tough, but I gotta go Saturday.”
- “I own half of a recording studio in town called Mountainside music studios. That’s pretty cool. I play the piano and the drums, I love animals and have two rescue dogs. I love to travel, I love hiking and nature, and I’m a terrible cook.”
