A jersey retirement ceremony dedicated to Marieme Wade will be held tonight before the Varsity basketball game. She wore jersey #20.
Wade was a member of the JV team her 9th grade year, and joined the Varsity team in her sophomore year. She, along with her siblings Omar and Aicha, died tragically this summer.
The team will have commemorative patches on their jerseys to honor Wade’s life and athletic career.
The JV game starts at 5:30pm, and Varsity begins at 7. Tickets are available here or at the door.
