The AHS Players performed their show Invisible Man on Nov.20 and 21.

The play, by John Wells, is about a homeless man who is mute, played by sophomore Kevin Cox. The story takes place in a subway as different types of people walk by the homeless man. He sees many things occur and tries his best to help while being mute.

While not having to memorize any lines made the role a bit easier, Cox said that “nailing the facial expressions” was a challenge.

Cox also felt that the other actors, “put on a good Albemarle show.”

“The play went very well. We were much better during performing than we were practicing,” senior Sharon Ibler said.

The audience also reacted favorably to the performance. “I liked it a lot because it was a cute story that was being told,” junior Olivia Webb said.

“All the actors and actress portrayed their characters very well. The set was done very well and looked if someone worked very hard on it,” sophomore Maddy White said.
