Not Quite Prom, Senior Celebration

Seniors will have a chance to go back to normal for a night at the Not Quite Prom, Senior Celebration on Saturday, May 22.

While a traditional Prom can’t take place this year, this celebration will be a fun event before graduation where seniors can catch up with friends and dress up. Attire can be anything from prom dresses and suits to shorts or jeans.

Seniors can sign up for a 30-minute time slot to sit socially distanced in groups of four in the breezeway, which will be decorated for the occasion. There will be eight 30-minute time slots between 4 and 8 p.m. for up to 40 students to sign up in each time slot.

As of publication, almost half the slots have been filled, so make sure to sign up soon.

During these time slots, the Jazz Band will be playing music, people can get their pictures taken in front of a backdrop, and free desserts and gifts will be offered as well.

Seniors are expected to sit at their tables socially distanced to be sure that state and school COVID guidelines are followed.

The rain date for this event is Sunday, May 23.
