Trombone Shorty is a national New Orleans trombonist, composer, bandleader, author, and philanthropist. He is best known for his jazz-funk sound that he is bringing to Charlottesville this June during a stop on his tour. Mavis Staples, the famous American rhythm and blues gospel singer, will join him for the night. The show is sure to be electric.
