Set your alarms, because starting Feb. 26, Patriot Period will no longer be at the beginning of the day. First block will now begin at 8:55 with Patriot Period following it at 10:20.
If you’re not drafted for Patriot Period, you must stay in your first block class until Patriot Period is over. You can either draft yourself to a class by going to Adaptive Scheduler via the Powerschool website (the app will not work). Students must draft themselves by 8 a.m that morning. Teachers will also be drafting students and they can override a student’s selection.
You can now also sign yourself up for a club during Patriot Period.
The schedule change is an attempt to utilize Patriot Period as more of a useful resource for additional help for students and to limit late arrivals to school.
