Upcoming Events for Senior Class ’24

The class of 2023 enjoy some fun in the sun during their senior prank last May.

Here are upcoming events for seniors, with locations and times provided:

May 18: Prom, Ting Pavilion, 7:00–10:00 pm

May 23: Seniors’ last day, except if you still have assignments or buyback time to complete.
There will be a cookout in the breezeway for seniors.

May 24: Senior Movie, The movie that was decided on is The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Students can meet at the theater if they would like. The movie will start at 10:00 a.m. This event is free for all seniors.

After the movie around noon, seniors will meet back at the school on the turf for a catered picnic lunch and field day. This is a free event.

June 3: Graduation practice starts at 9:00–11:00 am at school.

Graduation starts at 6:00 p.m.–9:00 pm at John Paul Jones Arena; all seniors must be present before graduation starts.

Eavan Driscoll is a senior at Albemarle High School in Virginia and will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall. She is a captain of the field hockey team here at AHS, Vice President of Key Club, and a member of NHS. Eavan loves the outdoors; hiking, camping, and everything in between. Travel, photography, and writing are her biggest passions and she will be majoring in international relations with minors in Spanish and communications to pursue some form of photojournalism or investigative journalism in the future.
