“I started reading again, and it’s been nice. I hadn’t read for a while, like throughout all of middle school. I really got back into reading when I read the first Dune book. Right now I’m reading The Dark Forest, which is a sequel to The Three-Body Problem.
Even if it’s not a book that takes place here in the present with all our present circumstances — like if it takes place in another world or time period — it can still have analogies that propose problems which stand true to the world we live in today as well. It can be really interesting to think about all the problems of the modern world through the lens of a different civilization or time period.”
