The SCA is hosting “V-Day Thang” in celebration of Valentine’s Day. For Valentine’s week, there will be a spirit week, and on Valentine’s Day, SCA members will deliver songs and gifts to students and staff.
SCA will sell Starburst, Hersheys, Crush soda, carnations, and songs from Feb. 7-13. Students should fill out the order form and then pay at the SCA window in the cafeteria from 8:30 through the end of Patriot Period and during both lunches. All the profits will go to families in need at Albemarle.
On the 14th, the Singing Valentines will go around the school performing to people that had a song purchased for them. During both lunch periods, you can go to the lower level of the cafeteria and watch the groups compete.
