Anna Zheng, Editor in Chief

Senior Anna Zheng (she/her) is in her fourth year of journalism. Previously, she served as Social Media Editor for two years and spent a summer at the Medill-Northwestern Journalism Institute. Outside of the newsroom, she runs Make a Change Club and Young AAPI of Charlottesville. Anna plans on studying Communications and Journalism at Northwestern University and pursuing a career in Public Relations.

Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist for female education represents South Asia. She is also the youngest Nobel Prize laureate.

Chinese-Malaysian film star Michelle Yeoh represents Southeast Asia. Yeoh is the first Asian-identifying recipient of an Academy Award for "Best Actress," which she won for 'Everything Everywhere All At Once.'

Against a blue background is Zaha Hadid, a world-renowned architect from Iraq. She is the first female Pritzker Architecture Prize winner.

"Eli" is a five-minute film made by three Advanced Filmmaking students.
